Two artists/writers looking for an alternative roof in BC for 2010
Hello! My name is Stefan and my partner's name is Heather. We are a responsible couple who are seeking short or long term housesitting / artist residency opportunities for the winter and early spring of the coming year.
We each hold master's degrees (I will have recently completed my graduate studies in Wolfville, Nova Scotia), and are both interested in creative ways to translate theory into praxis. After a year and a half away--myself, working at a community garden and writing a thesis, and Heather working as a program director at Ross Creek Centre for the Arts--we are returning to British Columbia in January 2010.
We are hoping to find some kind of alternative living scenario, so that we can continue working on various projects we've either shelved, or have been working on throughout our stay here on the east coast. We are open to ideas and suggestions, so please don't hesitate to talk to us, or to spread the word about us to anyone you know who may have house-sitting or artist residency opportunities.
