METAPHYSICIAN HEAL THYSELF
Divine Presence presents me with presents of prosperity & opportunity
Wrapped oft times disguised as adversity. Stinking-thinking attempts to tempt
me away from
All-sufficiency but that can never be-‘cause I’m in harmony. Nothing
can harm me & the Universe
Yields unto me ‘til my desires are fulfilled & running over.
I accept my abundance in right, Divine order with
No end in sight. I got the Midas touch & might as well do as much as I can
to help others excel. I LOVE living my life in this fashion.
Everything I do is done with passion like smashing
Old beliefs in lack from attacking or trashing my Divine Inheritance in fact, I
Now commence from “nowon” to dispense with any old conditioning
that’s just not contributing to my trust fund of abundance &
Excellence of endeavor. I find the circumstances I desire by chance
or make them when or wherever.
Infinite Mind is there to aid them, pervading all I survey without strife
with the Omnipotent opinion that I claim dominion in my
Life. This life that’s been awarded me, if I wasn’t me I’d want to be
but I want to be more! I’m playing the Horn of Plenty &
Lord, anything I have you’ve given me, lovingly, generously.
I merely opened the door of my awareness to you endless store.
Prosperity for posterity is our Creator’s plan for the planet.
My plan, as I understand it is to demonstrate the Laws of Cause
And Effect—which I’m obliged to perfect & I expect to see with ecstasy nothing
yet to compare with my share of manna I manifest from thin air.
Real in-comes from God within not my job but then, each paycheck
contributes to my wealth. Treasure without measure is what is now felt!
I advance the eternal substance of my soul to optimize my health &
retrieve my loftiest goals & dreams from off the shelf.
Sure as the sun rises above the horizon, I’m rising above my lower me
I live what I do for a loving. I give from what I am
Here for. Something that nothing is more important for me to do.
That is to awaken the Glory of Creation in you.

Anyway, all good...glad you're here...this has been a really fun OST to run. Just set it off and away they went.

It's great to be connecting with you here. I find your beauty Blog to be inspiring and energizing. While doing a final meditation after yoga this morning the beautiful photo of the creamy blossom on your page burst into my consciousness. It reminded me of a lotus blossom that came to me in a meditation a few months back. It embedded itself in my heart.
In "The Unknown Craftsman: A Japanese Insight into beauty" Yanagi writes:
"Beauty is the transformation of the world into pattern".
So "Li" or dynamic natural pattern is my inspiration. I love how the tension of opposition transforms itself into elegant patterned beauty. I play with this "natural law" endlessly while painting with oil and water based paints, or when releasing the surface tension created when one canvas is face down on another like dancing partners. I feel like an alchemist impersonating natures beauty recipe.
All the best
Li-sa
It's interesting that there seems to be a resonance around the idea of beauty on these pages. In too little art (that i encounter at least) is there emphasis on such an area - conceptualism and cleverness too easily dominate.
And with regard to your references to nature, again, I'd agree.
Nature, when fully revealed is, in many ways, the most perfect aesthetic experience in my book. Humbling, inspiring and beautiful. And again, it is importance that there is depth, and maybe even ugliness, within that beauty, rather than just a shallow scratch of the surface.
I'm interested in the fact that the medium you work in is online environments. How do you relate what is arguably the most artificial of art forms to the interest you have in nature?
The language you use suggests that it is softness that is key in these environments - 'nature-based, heart-connected' and yet I would have thought there was an inherent hardness to the instrument you have chosen for expression.
I'd be really interested in your thoughts as to how you overcome this and any links you can send me to your work.
Thanks,
t
PS Glad you like the photo. If only I could look like that all the time.
While some of this may seem a bit of "academic-speak", these ideas and theories filter into popular culture, and have an effect on institutions and popular media. The idea of a "bad", and/or frivolous beauty is certainly out there in the mainstream. I for one am happy to see beauty in all its subversive mystery making a comeback.
A week or so ago I was at conference at Dartington in the UK where Tracy Warr gave a talk on beauty. You can find the outline for that talk on the Desire Lines website at http://desirelines.org.uk/programme.html - just scroll down the page and you'll see it.
I hope to get online as much as possible this weekend, but am committed to participate in an invitational symposium on ethics and place in the UNESCO Clayoquot Biosphere Reserve... Also very interesting, but I am torn and so will try to multi-engage, rather than to be split!
