Ecological citizenship and other things...
The videos small hands and Unraveling, which can be found on the video part of this site, are part of my ongoing work in which I am exploring modes of collaboration. This blog is my invitation for you to participate or collaborate with me on this research.
Major conceptual concerns for this project, very briefly, include how does one show or performs their personal ecological politics, what is happening with inter, trans and multi-disciplinary work in the context of environmental concerns and realities, and finally (for now) what role does creativity play in the invention of new ways of living that make things better.
I will continue to blog with more questions, concerns, contradiction, absurdities and art. I look forward to hearing from you.

Comment by Lisa Figge on July 2, 2009 at 2:50pm - So I am in the studio today working further on the hands video. I really liked the way it looked like the hands could be piling up the stones. My friend Terry pointed this out and I want to work further with this look by purposely building up the stones.
